Who are we?

 

During this 8 week traineeship designed by the BBC,  you will learn many new and exciting skills that will bring out the very best in each individual. We believe passionately that everybody has talents that just need to be given the opportunity to come out. It is down to you how you use this traineeship whether it is the start of a new found career in the world of digital or you use it to build up your professional skills and self confidence, either way you will leave with skills that only a select few people will be given the opportunity to achieve.

This is an intense 8 week traineeship that will include but is not limited to;

 

Employability skills

You will learn how to act professionally in a work place gaining or improving on existing skills such as; behaviour, punctuality, telephone etiquette, project management, budgets, interview skills. 

 

Film and documentary making

Within the first four weeks you will be working at an in house learning environment where you will have the chance to go out into the community within groups or individually and create your own short film documentary, vines and CV videos. You will also learn how to edit your creations and publish them.

 

E-Portfolio

You will be required and taught how to create your own E-Portfolio over the first 3 weeks in order to be sent out to the employees you will be on placement with during weeks 4 - 7. This will show off previous skills and you can add new skills along the way.

 

Celebrity Of The Week

This scheme brings a great ending to each week, trainees will experience webinars, short clips and skype calls with different celebrities. We have already seen the likes of Stephen Fry, musical phenomen Will.I.Am and Dragon's Den's Evan Davies. 

 

Tweet Of The Week

Whilst you are getting to grips with and making your own social networking sites using Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin there will be a rolling competition called 'Tweet Of The Week'
